UBS Group AG crosses holding thresholds at Valeo
Swiss group UBS Group AG announced that it has crossed the threshold of 5% of Valeo's capital and voting rights. This crossing took place on May 30, 2025, through companies controlled by UBS, with a total holding of 14,228,749 shares, representing 5.82% of the capital and 5.19% of the voting rights.
The distribution of these shares is 3.83% for UBS AG and 1.99% for UBS Switzerland AG. This movement results from an off-market acquisition and an increase in shares held through assimilation. In addition, UBS holds contracts such as "right of use over shares" and "long call options" covering 761,249 and 209,000 shares, respectively.
UBS also announced that it holds 7,915,511 shares through contracts such as equity swaps and swaps on baskets. This strategic investment strengthens the Swiss group's presence in Valeo's shareholder base.
