Vanguard Group Discloses Stake in easyJet
On August 10, 2026, The Vanguard Group, Inc. filed Form 8.3, disclosing its opening position in easyJet plc. The disclosure was made under Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code. As of August 7, 2026, Vanguard revealed ownership of 23,713,631 ordinary shares, representing a 3.13% stake in easyJet.
The disclosure detailed several transactions involving easyJet's ordinary shares. Vanguard purchased 5,692 shares at 6.70 GBP per unit and another 16,423 shares at 6.71 GBP per unit. Subsequently, it sold 5,692 shares at 6.70 GBP per unit.
No cash-settled derivatives or stock-settled derivatives were involved, and there were no agreements or arrangements regarding securities or derivatives. Vanguard reported no indemnities or other financial dealing arrangements related to easyJet.
