E-Cite Motors Narrows U.S. EV Assembly Plant Search to Key States
E-Cite Motors Group has announced its shortlisted candidates for the location of its U.S. electric vehicle final assembly plant. Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and Nevada are in the running, chosen for their attractive real estate costs, skilled workforce availability, strong incentives, and favorable tax climates.
This selection is part of E-Cite's strategy to scale manufacturing for its next-generation EV lineup. The chosen states present viable options due to lower operational costs and supportive government policies. Nevada and Florida are particularly noted for their tax advantages and cost savings.
California and Washington have been excluded due to high costs and regulatory challenges. E-Cite's CEO emphasized the need for a business-friendly environment to facilitate growth. A final site selection is anticipated by Q3 2025, with facility construction set to follow soon after.
