VAT Group AG Reports 23% Sales Growth Amid Uncertainty
In the face of global uncertainties, VAT Group AG reported a notable 23% year-on-year sales increase for the third quarter of 2025, fueled by strong order execution. However, quarter-on-quarter, sales declined by 9%. The company experienced an 8% yearly drop in orders to CHF 238 million, attributed to ongoing semiconductor market challenges and strong foreign exchange headwinds.
The Advanced Industrials segment saw a significant rise in orders, while the Semiconductors unit continued to struggle with a 22% year-on-year decrease in order intake. Despite the challenges, VAT remains optimistic, projecting higher sales and improved financial metrics for 2025 amidst a promising outlook for the semiconductor market in 2026.
VAT forecasts fourth-quarter sales between CHF 225 to 245 million, maintaining its focus on executing orders and leveraging its order backlog.
