Traffic Performance of VINCI Autoroutes and Airports in July 2026
In July 2026, VINCI Autoroutes experienced a decrease in intercity network traffic. Light vehicle traffic fell by 1.9%, influenced by rising fuel costs and heatwaves. However, the timing of the holiday season helped mitigate the decline slightly. Heavy vehicle traffic saw a minor reduction of 0.9%, contrasting with a year-to-date increase of 1.2% over the first seven months.
VINCI Airports reported a marginal rise in passenger numbers in July, up by 0.4%. While airports in Portugal and Hungary showed strong traffic, others like those in the United States and Japan faced declines. Despite the mixed performances, cumulative traffic over seven months edged up by 0.1%.
Commercial aircraft movements at VINCI Airports decreased slightly by 0.2% in July. While certain regions such as Portugal and Brazil saw increased movements, others, including Japan and the United States, recorded declines in activity.
