Viscom SE Reports 30% Increase in Order Intake for H1 2026
Viscom SE, a leader in inspection systems for the electronics sector, reported a 30.2% increase in order intake for the first half of 2026, amounting to €55.7 million, driven by a major order in the battery cell inspection field. Despite a challenging market, the order book saw a 62.2% increase, reaching €37.9 million, laying a strong foundation for the second half.
While consolidated revenue fell 6% to €36.9 million, profitability picked up in the second quarter. EBIT for the first half was €-2.5 million, with Q2 contributing a positive €1.5 million, partially offsetting Q1 losses. Regional demand varied, with North America and Asia showing robust growth.
Viscom focuses on AI-enhanced software and new inspection systems. Consequently, the company confirms its full-year forecast, anticipating revenues between €80 million and €90 million.
