Vivendi Acknowledges Paris Court of Appeal's Ruling

Vivendi has acknowledged the decision made by the Paris Court of Appeal, which determined that Mr. Vincent Bolloré and Bolloré SE do not exert control over Vivendi SE as defined by Article L.233-3 of the French Commercial Code. This ruling follows the November 2025 partial reversal by the Cour de cassation, correcting a previous misinterpretation by the Paris Court of Appeal from April 2025.

The Cour de cassation had earlier ruled that the initial finding, which stated that Mr. Bolloré and Bolloré SE had control over Vivendi, violated the law. Consequently, the case was remanded back to a differently composed Paris Court of Appeal, which has now aligned with the Cour de cassation's analysis.
