Vivendi: Moderate Growth and New Development in Q1 2026
Vivendi announced revenues of €69 million for the first quarter of 2026, marking modest growth of 1.3% compared to 2025. This increase is primarily attributed to Gameloft, despite a challenging environment for the video game industry. Gameloft's PC/Consoles segment, in particular, grew by 11%, now representing 51% of its revenue.
To diversify its activities, Vivendi acquired Prisma Media's luxury division, creating the subsidiary V Collection, dedicated to high-end content. Furthermore, the company's investment portfolio experienced a decline in value due to the decrease in Universal Music Group's share price, settling at €4,426 million as of March 31, 2026.
Finally, a collective negotiated termination procedure has been initiated for the group's headquarters, with implementation planned from June 2026.
