Voltage Energy Achieves Groundbreaking 2kV EBOS Certification

Voltage Energy Group has received the first full-system 2kV EBOS certification from UL Solutions. This certification applies to their photovoltaic cable applications, covering product series such as LYNX®, IBEX®, IBEX PLUS®, and ALEX®. The decision to move toward 2kV system designs is driven by the need to boost energy yield and long-term reliability while reducing CAPEX in utility-scale solar projects. Voltage Energy's achievement marks a significant milestone as it becomes one of the first to meet system-level certification for a 2kV architecture.

Angel Lopez from Voltage Energy highlighted the importance of a coordinated approach across the value chain for 2kV adoption. Meanwhile, Evan Xiao from UL Solutions emphasized the need for unified system validation. Following this certification, Voltage Energy plans to assist EPCs and developers through design collaboration and training to ensure consistent project execution.
