Voltalia: IFC investment of 120 million euros planned

Voltalia, a renewable energy company, has announced a potential €120 million investment by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in its subsidiary Voltalia Management International (VMI). This investment would be made in the form of preferred shares, convertible into ordinary shares, subject to shareholder approval on September 17, 2026.

The capital injection aims to support the construction of new renewable energy plants. Divided into two tranches of €75 million and €45 million, this investment would be used for solar and energy storage projects. With a base return of 6.5%, the agreement provides for a share conversion under certain conditions.

This operation represents a key step for Voltalia, in partnership with a renowned development organization, thereby strengthening its financing capacity and its international growth strategy.
