Voltatron AG Acquires KOMITEC to Boost EMS Growth
Voltatron AG has announced the full acquisition of KOMITEC electronics GmbH, accelerating its growth in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) for 2026. The consolidation marks a strategic expansion in Voltatron’s EMS capabilities, enhancing production redundancies and adding valuable resources in electronics R&D, medium to large-scale production capacities, and client base diversification.
The acquisition plan, effective from January 1, 2026, will increase Voltatron's production area by over 4,000 sqm. The transaction is structured with a mix of cash and new shares, integrating KOMITEC's management into Voltatron's operations. Financial projections for 2026 estimate a revenue range of €47 million to €51 million and an adjusted EBITDA margin between 7% and 10%.
This strategic move aims to position Voltatron among Germany's top 10 EMS providers. The acquisition reinforces its market resilience and strengthens delivery capabilities, fostering long-term customer relationships. Founder Jochen Schmitt-Ruenhorst will remain a key figure in the company's leadership.
