Vossloh Secures €600 Million Promissory Note Loans for Sateba Acquisition
Vossloh AG has placed promissory note loans totaling €600 million. Primarily, these funds will refinance the acquisition of Sateba, a European concrete sleeper manufacturer. Due to high demand and favorable terms, the loan volume was increased beyond the initial aim of repaying bridge financing. The additional funds will cover other financial obligations. All tranches were set at attractive margins at the lower end of the marketing range.
The loans, disbursed on November 28, will replace a large portion of the existing long-term loans. A second disbursement is planned for February 2026. The terms of the loans extend over three, five, and seven years, with both fixed and variable interest rates offered. BayernLB, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken were the lead arrangers for this transaction.
