Vossloh AG has secured a significant framework agreement with Trafikverket, the Swedish rail infrastructure operator, to supply pre-assembled turnouts for Sweden's railway. The contract, valued at approximately €70 million, is set for a five-year term beginning in 2027, with a possible three-year extension.

This agreement is part of Sweden's "National Plan," which earmarks €45 billion for rail investments by 2037. Recognizing the essential role of turnouts, Vossloh recently opened a new plant in Sannahed, Sweden. The facility employs advanced automation, boosting production capacity to 900 turnouts annually, a threefold increase from the previous setup.

Vossloh CEO Oliver Schuster expressed the company's commitment to supporting Sweden's ambitious railway modernization efforts. With this partnership, Vossloh aims to meet the growing demand and contribute to the infrastructure renewal efficiently.
