Wescan Goldfields Spots Visible Gold at Munro Lake
Wescan Goldfields Inc. has identified visible gold in a quartz vein at the North Vein Target within the Munro Lake Project in Saskatchewan. This marks a significant development, with the vein spanning 25 meters in strike length and about 3 meters in width at the surface. While the presence of visible gold is noteworthy, assays are awaited for conclusive data. The vein, previously missed in a 2013 drill attempt, is under current diamond drilling as part of the company's exploration efforts.
The company has completed a UAV magnetic survey, flying 553.5 line-kilometers over the project. The survey's data, correlated with historical samples, will assist in ongoing exploration. Munro Lake is located near Saskatchewan’s only gold operation, the Seabee mine, highlighting the area's mineral potential.
