Westwing Group SE: Consistent Growth Amid Challenges
Westwing Group SE reported its fifth consecutive quarter of growth according to NuWays AG’s research. Despite challenging consumer conditions and increased freight costs, Westwing demonstrated robust international expansion and profitability.
In Q3, revenues increased by 13% to €111 million, primarily driven by international growth of 22% year-over-year. The DACH region also returned to growth with a 5% year-over-year increase. Active customers rose by 13% to 1.32 million, although the average order value decreased by 2% to €247 due to price-sensitive purchasing patterns.
Despite freight challenges, adjusted EBITDA grew by 7% to €6.5 million. Price adjustments and logistics efficiencies helped maintain margins. Westwing's strategic expansion into 28 countries, including new markets like the UK and partnerships with design brands, reinforced its premium brand status.
Looking forward, Westwing aims to achieve an upper-end revenue target of €470-495 million for FY26. This involves continued expansion efforts and leveraging AI-driven productivity and partner channels to enhance margins. The company remains self-funded, supporting growth through strategic investments.
