Wolfden Advances Drilling at Rockland Gold Project
Wolfden Resources Corp. has announced progress on its Rockland Gold Project in Nevada's Walker Lane Trend. The company completed the first 600-meter core hole of a planned 1,800-meter drill program. This initiative aims to investigate areas beneath historical drilling results that exhibited mineralization. Notably, prior holes PG-32 and PG-36C revealed significant gold equivalents over extensive sections. The recent hole, REP18, intersected 242 meters of mineralized clay-altered rhyolite, echoing characteristics of earlier finds.
A second drill will expedite the project, focusing on the Target Hill area. This site previously yielded a lower-grade gold intersection. Coming weeks will see prioritized lab assay results shared publicly, potentially guiding deeper drilling to identify richer mineral zones. Wolfden continues to pursue up to a 75% interest in the property. All findings and explorations adhere to established industry standards for quality assurance, ensuring reliable data.
