World Tennis Aims for Global Growth with New Strategic Vision
World Tennis, formerly the International Tennis Federation (ITF), has launched an ambitious plan to grow the sport worldwide. The organization's vision targets 140 million global players by 2035, up from 106 million today, marking over 30% growth. This rebranding signifies a commitment to offering diverse opportunities across all ages and skill levels.
Led by David Haggerty, President, and Ross Hutchins, Chief Executive, World Tennis has pledged to reinvest 85% of its annual income back into the sport. The strategy focuses on broadening participation, nurturing future stars, enhancing national competitions, innovating the sport's appeal, and securing investments.
To engage the global tennis community, World Tennis has also initiated a Global Tennis Fan Survey. Participants have the chance to win a trip to the 2026 Davis Cup Finals, fostering inclusivity and shaping the sport’s future direction.
