Barclays Plc crosses the threshold in the capital of WORLDLINE
On July 15, 2025, Barclays Plc announced that it had crossed the 5% threshold of WORLDLINE's capital on July 10, 2025. The company now owns 15,889,642 shares, representing 5.60% of the capital and 4.83% of the voting rights of WORLDLINE, through entities under its control.
This increase in stake results from an off-market acquisition of shares. Barclays also indirectly holds 5,768,714 shares through a securities loan with a call option at any time and 6,615,543 shares through various financial instruments, including portfolio swaps, CFDs and equity swaps.
Barclays Capital Securities Limited is a major contributor to this figure, holding 5.35% of the capital through a series of contracts exercisable between August 2025 and May 2027.
