Goldman Sachs' stake in Worldline falls below the 10% threshold
On March 17, 2026, Worldline announced that The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. had fallen below the 10% ownership threshold, its indirect stake dropping to 9.98%. This change resulted from an off-market sale of shares. Goldman Sachs now holds 28,348,037 Worldline shares, representing 9.98% of the share capital and 8.62% of the voting rights.
The shareholding is primarily held by Goldman Sachs International, with 9.73% of the capital and 8.40% of the voting rights. Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, and other entities hold the remaining shares.
Goldman Sachs also specified that it holds additional shares through derivative contracts, including call warrants, put options, and swaps, totaling more than 21 million shares. These instruments allow for strategic flexibility while also influencing the total number of voting rights.
