Dehua Porcelain: Bridging Heritage and Innovation

The "Blanc de Chine: Dehua Porcelain" exhibition kicked off in Talavera de la Reina, Spain, highlighting the fusion of Eastern and Western ceramic traditions. The exhibition showcases Dehua's iconic white porcelain, rooted in the centuries-old ceramic culture of central Fujian Province, China.

Wu Zhipu, head of Dehua County, emphasizes the enduring tradition of craftsmanship passed down through generations. This dedication has positioned Dehua on the global porcelain stage, boasting over 6,000 professional ceramic artists.

Technological advancements, including AI and 3D modeling, have refined the art, enhancing the creation of ultra-thin, transparent porcelain. Dehua's industry has grown substantially, exporting to over 190 countries.

In a bid to cement its global presence, the "Blanc de Chine" trademark is now registered in Spain. Dehua aims to establish cross-cultural ties, fostering cultural and trade exchanges with Talavera de la Reina and beyond.
