YOC AG's Digital Ads Rival TV Commercials in Effectiveness

Berlin-based AdTech firm YOC AG has unveiled a study showing their high-impact digital ads match the effectiveness of 15-second television spots. The study, conducted with attention analyst Lumen, highlights the digital ads' superior performance over standard digital formats.

YOC's Mystery Ad® captured 5,634 seconds of Attention per Mille (APM), surpassing the 5,178 seconds typical of TV commercials. This outpaces standard mobile banners, YouTube, and Instagram/Facebook ads, suggesting a paradigm shift in digital attention metrics.

Digital ads are positioned as complementary to traditional TV due to their targeting precision and interactivity, potentially shifting advertising budgets toward digital avenues. YOC AG CEO Dirk Kraus notes the strategic advantage of integrating TV's emotional impact with digital benefits.
