Zomedica Partners with Boehringer Ingelheim to Enhance Equine Diagnostics in Canada

Zomedica Corp., a veterinary health company, has announced a collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Canada Inc. The goal is to enhance equine endocrine diagnostic testing using Zomedica's TRUFORMA® platform. This partnership aims to advance the detection, treatment, and monitoring of pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID) in horses across Canada.

The initiative will integrate the TRUFORMA system into equine veterinary practices, enabling rapid endocrine testing. Boehringer Ingelheim will aid by offering complimentary diagnostic testing, aiming to better the accessibility and accuracy of PPID diagnostics in Canada's equine sector.

This strategic collaboration is expected to expand Zomedica's platform presence in Canada while supporting veterinarians with cutting-edge diagnostic solutions. PPID affects a significant portion of aging horses, and this program strives to provide timely diagnosis and improved treatment outcomes for these animals.
