ZPMC Finalizes Steel Bridge Shipment for Australia's Infrastructure Endeavor

Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) has completed its final shipment of steel bridge sections for the North East Link project in Melbourne, Australia. This marks the end of ZPMC's manufacturing and dispatch responsibilities for the venture.

The North East Link, a significant infrastructure undertaking in Victoria, aims to connect Melbourne's northern and southeastern suburbs with tunnels, bridges, and a bus rapid transit system. It holds the status of being the largest road project in the region.

ZPMC was a key supplier, providing the EBTA joint venture with three steel bridges equating to approximately 10,372 tonnes of structural steel, delivered across nine shipments. The project was awarded in May 2025.
