The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China has designated three subsidiaries of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC) as national "Green Factories" under China's 2025 Industrial Program. This recognition highlights significant developments in energy decarbonization and resource efficiency across ZPMC's industrial operations.
Improvements at the Shanghai Port Machinery Heavy Industries involve lean operations and digitalization, enhancing renewable energy utilization. At the ZPMC Changxing Branch, initiatives include a life-cycle carbon management system and smart factory practices, boosting environmental performance. ZPMC Qidong Marine Engineering integrates low-emission principles in its manufacturing processes, emphasizing renewable energy through PV systems.
Moving forward, ZPMC aims to expand its low-emission strategies, focusing on carbon reduction and energy transition globally.
