Zurich, 02 April 2026 – In 2025, ASMALLWORLD AG made significant progress in scaling its platform following the launch of its new membership model in late 2024, increasing membership by 38% to 121,922 members.
Net sales reached CHF 19.1 million (vs. CHF 20.9 million in 2024), reflecting a transition period following the introduction of the new membership model. Total operating income increased to CHF 21.5 million (vs. CHF 20.9 million in 2024), while EBITDA amounted to CHF 0.9 million, broadly in line with guidance.
The Subscriptions segment remained the core revenue driver, growing by 4% to CHF 15.2 million, supported by strong demand for paid membership products. The Services segment generated CHF 3.8 million in revenue, reflecting a more focused approach following the exit of non-core activities.
“In 2025 we scaled both our member base as well as our partner alliances, strengthened our strategic focus, and built a more efficient and disciplined organisation,” commented ASMALLWORLD CEO Zain Richardson. “With a rapidly growing global community and an expanded ecosystem, in 2026 we are focused on converting this scale into profitable revenue and long-term value creation for members, partners, and shareholders.”
SCALING THE PLATFORM FOLLOWING NEW MEMBERSHIP MODEL LAUNCH
Following the introduction of its new membership model in November 2024, ASMALLWORLD focused on accelerating platform scale. Building on this momentum, the company expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of the Advantage Membership tier. This addition broadens ASMALLWORLD’s appeal to a wider audience of affluent travellers, while complementing its established Premium, Prestige, and Signature offerings.
The new membership structure is designed to drive long-term value by increasing conversion from free to paid tiers, deepening engagement, and supporting growth across the platform and services.
EXPANDING PARTNERSHIPS AND DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS
Expanding partnerships and accelerating distribution were central to ASMALLWORLD’s growth strategy in 2025. The company strengthened its product offering through new global airline partnerships, including Cathay Pacific and Turkish Airlines, enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of its portfolio of memberships.
In parallel, ASMALLWORLD expanded its distribution capabilities through strategic B2B partnerships to drive both relevant and cost-effective member acquisition. This included a global alliance with Klarna, the leading digital bank and payments provider, who is just one of the company’s new partners who now integrate ASMALLWORLD to provide curated travel and lifestyle benefits into their cardholder and membership offerings.
LAUNCH OF MULTI-YEAR DATA AND AI TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME
In 2025, ASMALLWORLD launched a multi-year data and AI transformation programme focused on strengthening the company’s technological foundation and enabling more efficient, data-driven operations across the organisation.
The programme will enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support more targeted member acquisition and engagement. It will also enable greater automation and more effective use of data across key business functions.
While much of this work takes place behind the scenes, it represents a critical enabler for ASMALLWORLD’s long-term development, supporting the company’s ability to scale its platform, improve monetisation, and drive cost efficiencies.
GROWTH OF TRAVEL SERVICES AND MEMBER ENGAGEMENT
ASMALLWORLD continued to focus on its travel as a key component of its ecosystem and long-term services strategy. The ASMALLWORLD Collection hotel booking platform remained a central pillar, growing to nearly 1’800 hotels globally. Member bookings increased over 15%, reflecting rising engagement and the increasing relevance of the platform’s travel offering.
At the same time, strong member engagement continued to differentiate ASMALLWORLD as a truly unique and valued community. In 2025, the company hosted 952 events worldwide (vs. 864 in 2024), reinforcing the importance of real-world connections across its businesses.
STRENGTHENING OPERATIONAL FOCUS AND FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE
2025 marked a year of increased operational focus and financial discipline with ASMALLWORLD conducting a comprehensive review of its activities, exiting non-core and unprofitable projects, while streamlining its organisational structure.
While continuing its investments in product development, platform enhancements, and growth initiatives, ASMALLWORLD undertook an organisational restructure to improve both operational efficiencies, as well as collaboration across the company. This also resulted in headcount reductions to lower the operating cost base going into 2026.
At the same time, the company continued to de-leverage its balance sheet, reducing debt by 25% (from TCHF 3’200 to TCHF 2’400), ahead of plan.
OUTLOOK FOR 2026: DRIVING SCALABLE GROWTH AND MONETISATION
With a significantly expanded member base and a more focused operating model, together with efficiencies from the company’s data and AI transformation programme, ASMALLWORLD enters 2026 well positioned for continued growth.
Guidance for the year includes a continued increase in the member base, with expectations to reach between 135,000 and 140,000 members by year-end, an increase of 12-15%. As a result of the focus on profitable growth, total revenue is projected to remain stable at CHF 17.5 to 19.5 million, while EBITDA growth is expected to accelerate to be in the range of CHF 0.9 to 1.1 million in 2026.
