Unlike traditional cryptocurrency mining, which typically requires significant investments in servers, cooling systems, and electricity, SHIRUSHI Inc. has developed Web3 Maker as an energy-efficient mining solution powered by semiconductor technology designed specifically for Web3.0 applications.

The pocket-sized device consumes less than 0.5 watts of electricity, weighs only 7 grams, requires virtually no cooling, and produces near-zero CO₂ emissions. Compared with conventional mining servers, Web3 Maker can reduce approximately 12,430 kilograms of CO₂ emissions annually while providing users with a simple mining experience that fits into everyday life.

UPT Rewards to Launch on Web3 Maker

As the first project under the partnership, SHIRUSHI Inc. will add UPT as a new mining reward for Web3 Maker users beginning in late September 2026. The worldwide launch of the solution is planned for autumn 2026, with pricing and additional product details to be announced at a later date.

Web3 Maker includes patented Mining Boost technology, which automatically compounds mining rewards within the mining pool to maximize accumulated rewards. The device also incorporates a Proof of Reserve (PoR) mechanism designed to prepare for unforeseen events through separately managed reserve assets. Reserve balances can be publicly verified through third-party platforms that reference on-chain public data, providing a high level of transparency.
