The Management Board of ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA (‘Company’) decided today that the 2025 annual forecast needs to be adjusted. The Company had previously forecast a consolidated net loss of around €95 million and consolidated total output of around €250 million for the 2025 financial year. Based on the Management Board’s current assessment, the Company will not achieve these figures. Based on preliminary figures, the Management Board now expects a consolidated net loss of around €170 million for the 2025 financial year. Consolidated total output is expected to amount to around €230 million.
The forecast correction results from postponements amounting to around €40 million and value adjustments amounting to around €35 million due to current market changes in Germany and internationally.
The postponements include rights sales for wind and battery projects in Germany that had previously been planned for the 2025 financial year. Compared to previous plans, there have also been delays in the invoicing of development services rendered and the acceptance of planned construction services.
The Management Board remains confident in the success of the efficiency and transformation programme that has been initiated.
