ESKUTE Highlights Growing Interest in Electric Off-Road Powersports With Nova Series

Kowloon, Hong Kong, China, October 31st, 2026, FinanceWire

Quiet operation, easier mechanics, and broader reach are attracting grown-up riders to electric all-terrain vehicles, a change that also shows up in holiday shopping.

ESKUTE, an electric mobility brand, is highlighting the shift toward electric off-road powersports with its Nova series, a range of electric off-road vehicles designed for adult riders. The company points to advances in battery technology, motor performance, and growing awareness of noise levels and vehicle accessibility as factors influencing interest in alternatives to traditional gas-powered models.

Three factors are worth noting. The initial factor is sound. Noise is a prevalent reason that riding zones and private landowners restrict combustion engines, while electric motors are far quieter. Maintenance is the second factor. An electric engine consists of far fewer mobile components in comparison to a combustion engine, eliminating the need for oil changes, spark plugs, or carburetors for maintenance.

For those who ride occasionally, this means reduced time spent on maintenance. Accessibility is the final factor. In those areas where quieter vehicles are allowed, riders may discover additional locations to ride them, including private properties, despite these facts regulations can significantly vary depending on the area and type of vehicle.

Holiday shopping is one place the shift shows up. Electric off-road models now appear on adult gift lists alongside other outdoor equipment, a sign that the category is reaching buyers beyond traditional powersports customers.

Remains Unsettled

The category is still sorting out its rules. Electric off-road vehicles do not completely fit into the current classifications for bicycles, motorcycles, or all-terrain vehicles, and these definitions vary from one state to another, in different cities, and among various land management agencies.

Certain trail systems, parks, and privately owned lands establish their own rules regarding speed, noise, or types of vehicles allowed. Requirements related to age and licensing can also differ significantly. For manufacturers, this necessity for clear labeling and rider instructions is a business priority rather than an afterthought. For buyers, the question of the areas where a vehicle can be operated is just as crucial as its speed capabilities. How those rules are created is likely to shape how quickly the category grows.

ESKUTE’s Nova Range

ESKUTE, an electric mobility brand, has designed its Nova series specifically for this market. The company characterizes the range as off-road options intended for adult users. All figures below are what the manufacturer asserts.

The Nova X features a peak motor power of 4,000 watts and is equipped with a 48-volt, 23-amp-hour battery. ESKUTE claims it can reach speeds ranging from 35 to 46 mph. Its design resembles closely to a dirt bike.

The Nova Mini is powered by a peak motor of 3,500 watts and utilizes the identical 48-volt, 23-amp-hour battery. It serves as the more compact alternative within this range.

The Nova Beast is the most advanced model. It boasts a peak motor power of 5,500 watts and features a 60-volt, 27-amp-hour battery, with a claimed maximum speed of approximately 50 mph and a more aggressive styling.

In addition, ESKUTE has the V200 and V200 Pro, which are as retro-styled counterparts. The V200 is equipped with a 1,300-watt peak motor, a claimed speed of about 32 mph, and an estimated range of around 80 miles. The V200 Pro features a 2,000-watt peak motor and a claimed speed of about 40 mph including hydraulic disc brakes, and dual suspension.

These speeds exceed the defined thresholds for electric bike classifications in the United States. The Nova variants are not marketed as electric bikes or as vehicles that adhere to roadway regulations. Users are encouraged to check regional legislation before using any off-road electric vehicle, which includes guidelines about allowed riding areas along with age and licensing requirements that could be applicable.

“We built the Nova series for riders who want serious off-road performance without the noise and the maintenance that usually comes with it.” said an ESKUTE spokesperson.
