Freedom Holding Corp Announces SuperApp User Base Reaches 5.2 Million as Global Digital Ecosystem Expands
New York, UNITED STATES, August 7th, 2026, FinanceWire
Freedom Holding Corp announced that its SuperApp reached 5.2 million registered users by March 2026, nearly doubling from 1.8 million in March 2025, as the company continues to expand its integrated digital financial and consumer services ecosystem.
Freedom Holding Corp. described the increase in SuperApp users in the context of a multi-year strategic shift from a regional brokerage firm into an integrated digital fintech ecosystem. The company cited the concept first set out in its annual report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022, which identified “the creation of a digital fintech ecosystem” as a strategic objective and described the integration of online and mobile brokerage, banking services, insurance, payments and ticketing services into a single technology platform. The expansion of that concept was reflected in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024, when additional services, including an online travel aggregator, e-grocery, telecommunications, and digital media, were added to the platform offering.
The SuperApp consolidation of core financial services and adjacent consumer services was accompanied by increased use of data analytics and predictive AI capabilities across the platform. Freedom Holding Corp. reported that, on a broader basis including partner companies, approximately 14 million people now use services connected to the Freedom ecosystem. Company management described recent international partnerships and infrastructure agreements as supporting interoperability and cross-border service availability for the SuperApp and related services.
Freedom Holding Corp. provided financial context for the platform growth in its fiscal year 2026 results. Revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, reached $2.19 billion, up from $2.00 billion a year earlier. Net income for the same period was reported at $153.3 million, compared with $76.2 million in the prior year. The group reported operations in 22 countries and ongoing efforts to broaden banking and brokerage footprints in Europe, Turkey and neighboring markets.
The company highlighted strategic milestones that accompany platform growth. Freedom Holding Corp. filed for a banking license in France as part of a plan to establish a digital banking base in the European Union, supported by a planned investment of €500 million for the development of the digital bank and associated infrastructure. In Turkey, the addition of banking services to an existing brokerage presence followed an acquisition that company management described as strengthening local capabilities, with an intended investment of approximately $300 million in Turkey over the coming years. The company continues to pursue approvals for new banking operations in selected markets and to evaluate further expansion into Pakistan, Mongolia and other neighboring countries.
Timur Turlov, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, explained the role of integrated services in expanding the customer base in an interview with Forbes Kazakhstan and reiterated the user-experience rationale in an interview with Paytech Magazine, saying, “Some services drive direct revenue. Others improve retention. Others build trust. But together, they create a stronger ecosystem effect.” Turlov further argues that knowledge and technology will become defining assets for future economies and that ecosystem models will shape competitive dynamics among countries and firms.
Freedom Holding Corp. noted that the SuperApp milestone and accompanying financial and geographic expansion form part of an ongoing plan to increase market scale and qualify for broader index inclusion as the group pursues longer-term strategic objectives.
