German Innovation General Trading Announces Development Initiative for Patented Propeller-Free Propulsion Technology

German Innovation General Trading announced the launch of an expanded development initiative to support the continued development, evaluation, and testing of a patented propulsion architecture for advanced mobility, aerospace systems, unmanned aircraft, and urban air transportation applications. 

The propulsion concept, developed by mechanical engineer and inventor Mohsen Bahmani, is protected under European Patent EP3565971B8 and presents an alternative approach to propulsion system design. The architecture is designed around an enclosed propulsion framework that differs from conventional externally mounted propeller configurations used in many current mobility systems. 

As part of the initiative, activities are focused on technical evaluation, research, prototype development, and assessment of applications of the technology across multiple transportation and engineering sectors. 

The propulsion architecture incorporates a system in which multiple propulsion units operate within an internal looped structure through coordinated phases of acceleration, force transfer, deceleration, and recirculation. According to patent documentation, the concept is based on established reaction-based mechanical principles and does not rely on reactionless propulsion mechanisms. 

The technology also incorporates a wireless power transfer approach intended to reduce physical electrical contact within the propulsion structure. Current development activities include evaluation of system performance, operational characteristics, and potential integration pathways for future mobility applications.

The initiative will continue to focus on research, testing, and development activities related to the propulsion architecture.

Mohsen Bahmani is a mechanical engineer educated at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with more than a decade of experience in engineering concepts and propulsion-related technologies.
