Home Healthcare Company OnTime Announces Fundraising to Modernize Business
Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA, June 10th, 2026, FinanceWire
OnTime aims to change the way home healthcare agencies run their businesses.
OnTime, a software platform developed by the team behind Aaidebook Home Care, has announced that it is raising capital to help modernize the home care industry. The company aims to improve its business at a time when America’s aging population is creating urgent demands not just for better systems and oversight in healthcare, but also for more efficient care operations.
Through operating Aaidebook Home Care, an in-home care provider, the owner of OnTime has spent more than 25 years in senior care and has seen firsthand how inefficient many healthcare systems can be. Paperwork, broken systems, and fraud are only a few of the issues that occur in the home healthcare industry, which is why OnTime aims to modernize it through more practical funding.
Founded From Personal Experience
The founder of OnTime and operator of Aaidebook Home Care, Karl Pierre, was inspired by watching his mother transition from nursing into home healthcare. He joined her to help fill the technical gaps, but in doing so, he came to understand a reality many did not: Nurses know healthcare, but often not the complex systems that funnel services.
Through his work with his mother and later through operating Aaidebook Home Care, Pierre saw just how much waste went into multiple systems. With never-ending paper files, oversight gaps, and a lack of service tracking, he wanted to help prevent the problems that often arise in the healthcare industry, especially payroll issues.
“One day, a caregiver had a complete meltdown in our office. She submitted a paper timesheet after the payroll cutoff. It was pay day, and she came to pick up her check, expecting it to be there. But because the paper missed the cutoff, her entire week’s wages were not submitted. [With] no data, [there was] no check.”
This, combined with his experiences working with his mother, inspired Pierre to create a real-time tool to eliminate such occurrences in healthcare. As he worked to address these challenges, he also began developing software in-house to help healthcare organizations manage operational issues such as time and attendance tracking, HR compliance, and workforce administration, laying the groundwork for OnTime, the broader technology solution that would follow.
The Challenges In Regulatory Changes
According to Pierre, the biggest challenge in home healthcare is regulatory change. While this is in part due to changes within the overall system, he says some issues stem from CMS placing moratoriums on the enrollment of new home healthcare and hospice providers.
These regulatory adjustments, which change annually, require agencies to operate efficiently or risk going out of business, so home healthcare agencies need to adapt. This is where software such as OnTime may help.
“We are operators first, so we are always building real solutions we actually need and know the home care ecosystem needs,” Pierre says.
Changing How Home Healthcare Works
While Pierre’s early childhood experiences, as well as working alongside his mother in the healthcare industry, would shape how he conducted business, he wanted to create software that worked not just for him and his business but for businesses across the country.
“I see our software empowering more senior care companies and service-based businesses,” the founder of OnTime shares. “I [also] see our company guiding the next generations of entrepreneurs pulling themselves out of the mud to improve their lives and communities.”
