September 30 open meeting could advance consideration of additional professional credentials

KoreInside welcomes the Securities and Exchange Commission’s upcoming open meeting on Wednesday, September 30, where commissioners will consider issuing notices concerning whether additional certifications, designations, or credentials should qualify individuals for accredited investor status under Rule 501(a)(10) of Regulation D.

The SEC’s existing framework permits individuals with certain Commission-designated professional credentials in good standing to qualify, alongside other paths to accredited investor status.
