PRESS RELEASE

MeltFlex AI Interior Design Tool Passes 213,000 Users Worldwide

Bratislava, Slovakia, July 8th, 2026, FinanceWire

MeltFlex AI, an interior design software company founded in Slovakia by Matúš Koleják and Braňo Hrivňák, announced that its AI redesign tool has surpassed 213,000 users worldwide, with the United States as its largest market. The platform converts a single photo of a real room, empty or furnished, into a photorealistic render of that same space in about 20 seconds, and links the furniture in the render to real, purchasable products.

The tool addresses a problem most people face when moving or renovating they cannot picture how furniture will look and fit in their own room before they spend money. Professional interior design fees commonly run into the thousands of dollars per room, and guesswork often leads to wrong sizes, overspending, and returns. MeltFlex AI is designed to deliver a to-scale visual of the finished space in seconds.

Unlike general image generators that produce an attractive but unrelated room, MeltFlex AI is built to preserve the architecture of the uploaded space. In the company’s testing, windows, ceiling height, and room proportions carried over into the redesigned render rather than being reinvented, which the company describes as the difference between a decorative image and a usable planning tool.

Users upload a photo, select a room type such as living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, or home office, and choose from more than two dozen design directions, including modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, industrial, coastal, farmhouse, minimalist, mid-century, and art deco. The platform then returns a render of the same room in the selected style.

“Most tools in this category hand you a beautiful room that is not yours,” said Matúš Koleják, co-founder of MeltFlex AI. “Our focus is the opposite: keep the bones of the room the user actually has, and connect what they see to furniture they can buy. The render is a starting point for a real decision, not a picture that belongs to no one.”

A feature the company considers central to its product is its shoppable output. Rather than showing invented objects, MeltFlex AI ties pieces in the render back to catalog products from retailers such as IKEA, Amazon, and Wayfair, with price comparison and purchase options, pairing a design concept with a shopping list attached to the user’s own room.

Beyond the core render, the platform can furnish an empty room from a single photo, a function comparable to the virtual staging used in real estate; convert a floor plan into a 3D view; and generate a short walkthrough video of the redesigned space. Rendering is available at multiple resolutions, with the sharpest output offered on higher-tier plans.

“A render that used to take a staging studio weeks and thousands of euros now ships in about twenty seconds,” said Braňo Hrivňák, co-founder of MeltFlex AI. “That changes the economics for everyone who helps people picture a space.”

The company is direct about the tool’s limits. MeltFlex AI states that results depend heavily on input quality, as a clear, straight-on photo taken in daylight produces markedly better renders than a cluttered or poorly angled one, and that the renders are intended as a directional starting point rather than a measured, construction-ready plan.

MeltFlex AI is used by homeowners as well as businesses whose work depends on visualizing rooms. In Slovakia, its users include furniture brand Kondela, real estate agency HERRYS, interior designers, and property developers YIT Slovakia, JTRE, and VI GROUP, which use it to furnish off-plan apartments for sales galleries at a fraction of traditional per-unit staging cost.

MeltFlex AI offers a no-cost entry tier, with paid plans that scale by usage. The standard plan is priced at about €29 per month and the pro plan at €59 per month, with higher tiers unlocking sharper renders, additional projects, and API access. Pricing varies by region. The same engine is also available through an API, a CLI, and an MCP server. MeltFlex AI is available at meltflexai.com.
