Tüyap announced that MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has filled all 14 halls and reached full capacity across 120,000 square metres. German manufacturers are among the direct exhibitors as more than 1,000 companies, brands and representatives prepare to gather in Istanbul.
İstanbul, Türkiye — MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has filled all 14 halls and reached full capacity across 120,000 square metres before opening, after exhibitor demand exceeded the space available at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul. The event, running from 28 September to 3 October 2026, will bring together more than 1,000 companies, brands and representatives from more than 30 countries, with German manufacturers among those exhibiting directly.
İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc., said, “The fact that all 14 halls are full reflects the level of international interest in MAKTEK Eurasia. The fair has become one of the strongest manufacturing technology meetings in Türkiye and the Eurasian region. It also gives companies access to international markets while presenting Türkiye’s engineering capability and production strength to the world.”
Murat Akyüz, Chairman of the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association (TİAD), said, “MAKTEK Eurasia is one of the most comprehensive meeting points in Türkiye and the region for machine tools and production technologies. It helps companies reach new markets, strengthen competitiveness and become more visible internationally. That role makes the fair an important platform for the future of the sector.”
Osman Fatih İğrek, Chairman of the Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association (MİB), said, “Technology, production capacity and collaboration are critical to sustainable growth in machinery manufacturing. MAKTEK Eurasia creates an environment where these elements come together and where the sector can strengthen today’s capabilities while shaping its future.”
International participation broadens
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 is organised by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in cooperation with TİAD and supported by MİB and the Turkish Ministry of Trade. Alongside Türkiye, companies, brands and representatives from more than 30 countries will take part.
Manufacturers from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, South Korea, Taiwan, France, China, Hong Kong and Bulgaria will exhibit with direct stands. The scale of direct manufacturer participation gives German industrial audiences a view of suppliers and production technologies gathered in one venue.
Production technologies take the floor
Machine tools form a production base for sectors ranging from automotive and defence to aerospace, energy, white goods and medical technologies. This gives the exhibition a wider manufacturing remit beyond the machinery industry itself.
The exhibition will cover next-generation CNC systems, robotics and automation solutions, digital manufacturing technologies and smart factory applications. Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 solutions, digital twin technologies and data-driven production systems will also be presented.
Many international brands are expected to stage world and Türkiye launches of new products during the event. The 2026 theme, “DAHA”, represents an approach to production built around being faster, more efficient, more precise and smarter.
MAKTEKVERSE extends the format
MAKTEKVERSE will add an experience-led layer to the traditional exhibition format. In the Tech-Force Area, students, young engineers and start-ups will engage with innovative manufacturing technologies, while the Effect-Force Area will bring industry figures together to share knowledge and experience.
The programme will also include the CNC Machine Tools Conversation, moderated by Mechanical Engineer M. Sinan Çalık. These elements sit alongside the main exhibition rather than replacing its core focus on manufacturing technology.
For German manufacturers, suppliers and industrial professionals, the full-capacity result offers a concrete measure of the demand behind this year’s event. The direct presence of German manufacturers also gives the Istanbul fair an immediate connection with Germany’s production technology community.
